I am Nina Rodmann—counselor, social scientist and clown. I’ve always been interested in people, their stories and paths in life, and how these are embedded in wider societal structures.
I have changed my life quite a few times, and I hold a PhD, too—and yes, at times, I’ve struggled with both. I’ve lived in Germany, the Philippines, Mexico, and the UK, and I’ve worked in development, academia, and publishing. Nowadays I also work as a clown doctor. I hold a Master’s in Economics from the University of Cologne and a PhD in Political Science from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. I received my clown training mostly at ClownWerk in Bad Kreuznach, and I completed my training in „Integrative Psychotherapy“ at the Mainz Institute for Psychotherapy and Adult Education. I like dancing, juggling, making music, and writing.
