I am Nina Rodmann—social scientist, counselor and clown. I’ve always been interested in people, their stories and paths in life, and how these are embedded in wider societal structures.
I’ve been living in Frankfurt am Main for quite some time now and work as a copy editor, counselor and clown doctor—a clown is always in the present moment, practices trial and error and keeps at it, and approaches life with curiosity. Previously, I’ve worked in development and academia and lived in the Philippines, Mexico, and the UK. I like dancing, juggling, making music, and writing.
I received my clown training mostly at ClownWerk in Bad Kreuznach, and I completed my training in „Integrative Psychotherapy“ at the Mainz Institute for Psychotherapy and Adult Education. Plus I hold a Master’s in Economics from the University of Cologne and a PhD in Political Science from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
